This proposal is designed for battery energy storage power stations uses PV panels. The role of the battery energy storage system(BESS) is peak shaving and valley filling and smooth output to the grid by cooperating with the PV panels, reducing the phenomenon of abandonment of light, and make full use of PV power. Operating Mode: PV+BESS
1) At noon, the sunlight is full, photovoltaic energy is greater than the load demand, PV is preferentially provided to the load, excess energy is stored in battery.
2) In the morning and evening, the sunlight is weak, and the photovoltaic energy is insufficient for the load demand. The battery supplements power supply to the load.
3) At night, PV has no energy supply and the load is supplied by battery. The BESS is established on key equipment include VRFB battery with high safety and long cycling life, power control system (PCS). VRFB battery is used as energy storage device or carrier; PCS can realize 2 functions: one is DC/AC conversion in both directions, the other is electrical power flow controlling.
